He performed 甜甜的！I was so happy I nearly jumped!! And he did 髮如雪 for encore!! It was an amazing performance!! He came onto the stage via a movable platform from below and he performed the song using the guzheng! SO NICE!!!!!! And both of them are the songs that I really wanted to see him do!!! It was worth every cent of my $80 even though I only got to see his side profile for most of the time.

So many songs! And that’s not even the entire tracklist because I have forgotten some of them. He did 4 encore tracks but I can’t remember the 1st one, however hard I tried. But I remember he went down and shoke hands with the audience on the front row!!!!!!!! And during 雙截棍 he threw his to the audience on his right. He created a ruckus of there for a while.
And remember the piano duel from “Secret”? He did that one too! With this other guest performer from 南拳妈妈. The guest performer came on stage playing a classic black piano from the movable platform followed by Jay with his transparent (albeit plastic-ky) looking piano. Wow that was like one of the best moments during the concert! 南拳妈妈also performed some of their songs. Those were some of their rather old songs because I have heard them before! But they were good, 2 of those songs they did was 牡丹江 and What Can I Do. Lara was so pretty!!! But Lara and Jay didn’t do 珊瑚海. She was the female voice for 夜的第七章. I never knew that. After 夜的第七章 was 夜曲. It was … sleazy. He came onto the stage via another movable platform seated on a huge pink high heal with 2 other sexy babes. And throughout the entire song the 2 girls were kind of like trying to ‘get it going’ with him. But that’s so not apt for a song that’s about someone’s girlfriend who died and a guy who can’t get over her!!! Oh well.
But during 迷迭香he invited his Granny up on stage and she danced with one of his female dancers. I thought that was pretty sweet. ^^ Overall I would say it’s a very good show. He had many costume changes. I feel it would be even better if the stage was made to look for unique. Ayu had such a grand looking stage for her concert! Weirdly, going for Jay Chou’s concert just made me want to go for Ayu’s concert even more!!!

The view of the stage from my seat. Those circles and squares are where the movable platforms are located. The 2 white squares directly in front of the band was where the 2 pianos were when the piano duel was performed. The red square in the middle was where Jay1st appeared on stage. The other circles and 2 red squares where where he appeared with props at other times. There were cages hanging on the top of the stage that will be lowered during the first part of the concert. There were also chandeliers that were lowered when he performed those cheena songs that I love!! (Fei Yu Qing didn’t come.) But when it comes to props like those I think Ayu’s concerts are much better. And I’m not being biased here!
The girls who went. There were another 2 couples but they left before us. We went to try out the other seats after the show was over to see which seats were better and also to find the hands that you see in the picture! Because our seats don’t provide them =[ Only the $100 and above seats have them. So we went around hunting for them and found 4! One for each! HAHAHA!!! It was fun! No regrets!
