I passed my JLPT 4! Quite happy! My sis just msned me the results, got 380/400! When I am back in Singapore, I must continue studying the language!
These past few days I have been travelling around Netherlands quite a bit. Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Den Haag. Because guat sim came! Finally took pictures of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. I like it!

We spent an entire day in Amsterdam and it was really fun! Or at least I thought so. Walked around the city and visited the Anne Frank House, Dam Square, Madame Tussaud’s, Sex Museum and the Red Light District at night. Anne Frank House turned out to be quite nice, considering that I didn’t even know who she was when I stood in the queue for the tickets.

We had lunch in the museum, the ambiance was great, nice and spacious with a good view of the outside.

Amsterdam is very commercialized and full of tourists! We had to look out for locals when trying to ask for directions. It’s an extremely busy city as compared to the others that I went. Normally on weekdays most cities are pretty quiet but Amsterdam is so crowded and full of activity. But the canals are really pretty, I kind of liked Amsterdam.

The red light district was quite noisy and rowdy the day we went due to some soccer match. The pubs there were airing it and those teenagers walked around shouting dunno what. The prostitutes really just stood at the windows scantily clad, some were quite plus sized as well. Actually, nothing much other than that. Madame Tussaud’s was super fun! We took pictures with so many famous people! I bought the photo taken with Obama! Hm, we are all so short!

But my favourite is still the one with Nicole Kidman! Cos she’s just so pretty! I will definitely go back to Amsterdam. I really want to visit the van Gogh Museum!
Den Haag was cold today. We wanted to go to the Peace Palace but it required an advanced booking to get in and we were late anyway. So we went to the mini Holland place. It was really kind of cool! The detail and moving figures. Summer will be the best time to visit this place cos just now it was too cold!

On our way back we talked to a nice Dutch guy and he was telling us that in the past when he studied in TU he used to cycle to Scheveningen, the nice beach near Den Haag during spring/summer. We should do that too cos he made he sound so fun! Just chilling out at the beach after school sounds fun right?
And.. my new bag! I love it! It’s so nice!
