The most interesting event that happened during my nearly 2 months at IA was the aircraft inspection yesterday! I got to do down to the apron to “inspect” the plane with the airworthiness inspector. It was interesting (even though it was just a small aircraft)! I felt I learnt a lot through the inspector, he told me what they look out for when inspecting the plane and when he said “delamination” I was very excited because I learnt that before in aerospace materials! After inspecting the outside the cabin was checked to make sure it was safe and all that. Including the flight crew! And because we walked through the departure gates, for a moment I really felt like going overseas. It was quite funny because no one knew where the plane was “parked” at except that it’s at T1. So they were looking at the flight schedule to find the correct gate number. When the inspection was finished there were already many people seated in the departure lounge and they were looking at us cos some of us were still wearing the vest that bears the words “airworthiness inspector”. That’s the good thing of being in A/FO.
The movies that I watched recently are all Japanese ones. And there are few more interesting ones to watch! HYD Final and Kurosagi!!!!! I saw the HYD trailer on TV Mobile today. So happy when I heard One Love playing the the background!

Today sup said: “I heard from colonel that you guys don’t feel challenged.”
Ya that’s true. But I have given up trying to ask for more work from him. Since I am going for the cabin crew training thingy starting next Wednesday. So I just replied “hmm, ok la.”. And I was the one that voiced out to colonel the fact that we are not exactly very busy.
Somehow I can feel okada slowly creeping out of my life. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I haven’t even been watching the VVV6 & gakkou. And gakkou is ending/ended. And I don’t like V6’s latest DVD single. Can’t wait for the next one that is going to be released in September.
Tomorrow will be a busy day. Not during work, but after work. Going to marina to watch fireworks, after that going back to school for TKD camp. Think I’ll be really tired.
ayu watches Heroes! That just made my day. For some weird reason. HAHA.
Tomorrow I’ll finally have something decent to do!!! YAY.
And my brother is totally pissing me off. He knows his D&T thingy is due tomorrow but he came home so late and is now demanding to use my computer to complete his thing cos his is spoilt. I wonder what shit he downloads into his pc. It spoils so bloody often! And he dares say “the race very important meh? my thing need to hand in tomorrow leh!”
For GOLD!!!! I hope we win!!!! Even the National Day Rally was postponed so that everyone can watch the Olympics! All the best to our table tennis players!!!! I’ll definitely watch it tonight!
The magazine that I ordered from Kino only had 1 shot of okada inside. But it’s ok, cos I thought it was nice enough. =D

The title of the book is “The Rules of Work”. I don’t have it though. I browsed through it in the book store.
The dinner with pj and ade tonight was fantastic! Cos we laughed a lot. It’s really nice to have a good laugh once in a while. I think their work sounds more interesting than mine. After talking to them I finally decided that I should just go and ask my sup about the course. This week is passing dead slowly! But the good thing is that I finally completed the 2 log book entries. I shall write the 3rd one this weekend.
I have not seen okada’s face since Saturday after watching his movie. It was so good! I love his acting.

During lunch I read this book, it says one of the rules of work is “If you have nothing nice to say, shut up”. I guess I need to learn that. It also says “Moaning is pointless. It is unproductive and achieves nothing”. I should also REALLY paste that phrase somewhere in my cubicle. Even my interns friends kinda agree that I grumble a lot. Even though they consider it to be “whining” or “complaining”. But I believe I don’t whine.
I finally finished my 1st logbook entry! Now for the 2nd one.
I don’t feel very much hyped up about NDP this year. The Olympics opening ceremony yesterday was really very nice! The part where the astronaut drifted to touch the screen on the ground and it opened and out came a huge globe with people walking on it (just like people walking on the Earth) was the best! Then Sarah Brightman and Liu Huan sang the song “You and Me”. And 2008 umbrellas of people smiling opened up and fireworks with smiley faces erupted in the air. It was touching. I woke up at 5.30am in the morning to watch the repeat telecast because I missed the first 2 hours of it. When I heard the alarm ring in the morning I thought I have to work.
And .. tomatoes! Just thought they were very pretty.
Only the finale was interesting! Last year’s was much better. Probably because I was there. And, looking at that stupid hall allocation scheme, I did some calculations and guessed that I might get 12 points for this academic year! Because I am going to be on overseas exchange, 3 points will be awarded. And if I apply for a room with Guat Sim again next year, I’ll get 8+3+1=12! Doesn’t look too bad to me. I really hope to get a room during my final year.
The best things that happened today:
1. XR’s present arrived!! It’s a huge box. I shall not open it. I shall just wrap it as it is. YAY. So glad it arrived on time for Sunday!
2. I helped my colleague invigilate the Meteorology (Prac) paper today! I was so nervous even though I wasn’t the one taking the paper or the one talking. When my colleague was trying to find the key to open the door to the exam room I was really hoping for the key to be there. Or she would have went back to get it and I’ll be left alone with that bunch of .. scary looking pilots.
3. The 3rd best thing: Students who are away on IA (local or overseas) for 1 semester and overseas exchange programme for another semester within the same academic year will be exempted from the minimum campus life involvement!!!!!! YAY!!! When I read I, I was screaming “GOAL”!!!!!!!!!!!!! until my father scolded me for being noisy.
4. The 4th best thing: okada’s movie, Kagehinata ni saku is subbed!!!! And in my computer!!!!!!!!! YESSSSS!!!!

If I keep thinking about the depressing stuff at work I’ll go crazy.
AHH!! New discovery!!! I am very very happy now! Okada is number 9 in Oricon’s poll for high school girl’s favourite actor/actress! HAPPPY!!! Plus many actresses that I like are also on the list! And ayu is number 2 for summer beauty!!!
